other than the typically hot plastic women this show has nothing to offer. 2 minutes on the internet would provide better
porn and you wouldnt have to deal with the crap plot and dialogue. she mustve blown someone at cinemax to get this
greenlit.

i'm all for calling schlock, schlock - but this:

"this is softcore porn, i didn't know you could post porn on eztv. "

comes creepily close to 'the children! the children!! won't someone think of the children!?!'

"softcore porn" = multiple sex scenes, apparently. is that the definition? or perhaps it's just the
old 'i know it when i see it' line of attack.

regardless, i take it this is somehow offensive, based on the tone of ngerules' terse post. i'm
assuming he/she has missed the infinite number of other shows to include (gasp!!) sex in their
plotlines?

if it's crap, say it's crap. who wants to watch crap?

implying that it's crap because it features a bunch of 'sex' (meaning: non graphic/no reproductive
organs shown) is just silly, puritanical horseshit. suggesting that a heavy focus on
non-pornographic sex (well written or not) is somehow equivalent to real pornography is absurd and
juvenile.

what's the formula? what's the standard? what was the thought process? was it something like:
'okay... that's one soft sex scene.... okay... no prob.... wait, here's another ..... (15 min later)
.... geez, another soft sex scene.... well, since there have been several scenes like this, that
means this is [pause for dramatic effect] porn!' wait....technically, since it's clearly not porn, i
can't call it porn.... i'll add "softcore" as a loaded qualifier, and i'll assert that the sanctions
against actual pornography should now be applied to any show which passes the 'ngerules line' of
personal comfort. 1 sex scene? okay. that's fine. technically, there's no denying that sex exists,
so i guess showing a brief non-graphic pantomime of it is okay. 2 sex scenes? well now you're going
overboard.... sure, sex exists, but do we have to see it twice in 42 minutes? i mean really. 3 sex
scenes? three???? now that is a bridge too far. with three, they have officially crossed the
ngerules line! too dirty! no more of this filth! i won't stand for it! get thee behind me satan!!....' ?

perhaps i go overboard, lol, but...ffs.

porn is porn. not-porn is not porn.

the 'ngerules line' (however it's actually defined) is clearly important to ngerules, but it should
not be enforced policy.

imh2¢o.

can anyone provide a synopsis or at least say what this show is about ?
imdb is silent and only shows some actors/actress i never herd about.

the only post who gave a hint was the one saying it was like queer stuff and l word thingy. that
made me want to skim it but since i'm curious, i'm still downloading it.

if no one provides it, i will. but, dammit guys, instead of spamming the same comments over and over
and making a spiel about a previous post, you could help people who want to know about the show.

will edit with synopsis once i've watched it.

so, let me get the rules down.... these comment sections are for synopses only, and any posts that
fail to meet that criteria are to be labeled spam (as judged by ...someone)....responses to said
originating spam (or any follow up discussion from other members of the community) that consist of
anything other than a synopsis will be judged "spiels" and considered unworthy of inclusion. that
about got it? please add more rules when they come to you (unless you'd prefer to simply post in a
synopsis next time, without castigating every other poster because you didn't find what you
wanted [shame on us!!]... potato/potahto).

from the cinemax website (regular sherlock, i am):

chemistry

on cinemax after dark

fridays › 11:00pm

"passions ignite and the sexual sparks fly in this sultry series from cinemax, which just proves
that there's no denying chemistry.

as the saying goes -- opposites attract -- but that is just the tip of the connection between liz
and michael. liz is the cop; michael, the corporate lawyer. they come from different worlds: the
ivy-league world of a law firm where michael is engaged to the boss's daughter, and the gritty world
of the lapd, where liz is a hardboiled cop on the beat.

but from the moment liz saves michael from a fiery car wreck, their chemistry explodes on every
level. they try to break the spell of their mind-blowing attraction but can't and maybe they'll
find they don't want to. enter their world filled with erotic madness and inhabited by the quirky
assortment of family, friends and lovers who orbit their cosmic storm."
